- Apprenticing in leading an innovative Project Based Learning elementary school, with emphasis on equity, innovation, and deeper learning. Working alongside school director in all decision making related to leading a school.
- Observe and coach teachers through dilemmas in their teaching practice
- Evaluate the systems in place at the school that support adult learning. Analyze structures and adjust as needed to meet personalized learning goals of teachers and whole-school vision
- Facilitate protocols in group meetings that allow for equitable response and dialogue
- Evaluate and support the implementation of Project Based Learning

- Support students through social challenges, including the use of Restorative Practices

- Awarded a $28,800 grant for teacher-led professional development resulting in 2 subsequent grants, bringing in over $75,000 toward Professional Development for teachers
- Provide a technology-rich learning environment for students, incorporating web tools to connect and build the learning of all community members, including GAFE, Ning, Edmodo, Voicethread, Piktochart, and iMovie
- Coordinate and design two-day, overnight immersion experiences in San Francisco, Ashland, and Angel Island for 120 students
- Develop instructional goals, research and implement best practices, drawing on Professional Learning Network resources, collaboration with university professors, and online tools
